Houku: "Wandering"

Ren is a tsukumogami (artifact spirit) who originated from a katana. Back then, he was forced to simply watch has he was used to spill the blood of many in his master's hands. In her travels, Enma Ai found him abandoned in a battlefield and allowed him to take the form of a human. Though he is no longer a mere tool, he willingly joins Ai in her wandering and dedicates himself to assisting her in her duties as the Hell Girl.
